The pool area was fun and spacious, perfect for families. Unfortunately, the hot water was inconsistent during our stay, especially in the mornings.

The breakfast buffet had delicious options, especially the made-to-order omelets. Our room was noisy, and we could hear everything from the hallway. The arcade and game room were fun for the kids. Check-in was slow, and we had to wait a while. Overall, nice stay but not perfect.

The indoor swimming pool was a perfect retreat for relaxation - I loved every dip! The breakfast spread was absolutely scrumptious with so many options to choose from.
100% recommend ❤️😊

Our visit to Blue Gate Garden Inn was fantastic! The pool and hot tub provided great relaxation, while the complimentary breakfast featured delicious homemade preserves that were a highlight. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. Can't wait to return!

Breakfast is hot and includes fresh cooked omelettes. The staff is cheerful, and the location is perfect for concert-goers.
I couldn't find a plastic fork for my takeout.

The room was spacious, which was a nice surprise. The little kitchen setup added convenience for snacks and drinks. I had issues with the room key and ice machine not functioning. The bed was comfortable, but the temperature control was a bit tricky. It felt either too warm or too cool. Noise from the hallway occasionally disrupted our peace. Check-in was not welcoming, and staff interactions lacked friendliness. Breakfast was the highlight, with a clean dining area and friendly help. the room’s comfort was overshadowed by service issues and facility problems.

During my stay, I found it so convenient to walk to popular spots like the PAC theater, less than a 10-minute stroll away, and the charming Davis Mercantile, which is just over a kilometer from the hotel, making it easy to explore shops and local culture. The friendly staff and excellent breakfast options, including a made-to-order omelette station, enhanced my experience, but parking could use some improvement as spaces filled up quickly.

I had an awesome time at this hotel since it's right next to the Shipshewana flea market and walking distance to so many shops and restaurants which made exploring super easy and fun; plus the facilities are great with a clean room, a lovely courtyard with a pond, and a firepit to relax by after a long day of discovery. One small thing to note is that the food options, like the pizza and wings, were a bit pricy but everything else was just fantastic.

clean hotel, clean facilities with an amazing breakfast buffet and a very convenient location just a short walk from the theater.
Don’t have any issues at all.

Great location and clean rooms, but outdated fixtures and no evening dining services.

Our room was a total letdown; everything felt outdated and dingy. The air conditioning filters were filthy, making my allergies skyrocket. I could barely sleep on the lumpy sofa bed - my son’s legs were hanging off!

Pricing is steep considering the service provided. A $4 cookie at check-in? That’s a poor touch. Most places offer a complimentary treat. The staff appeared indifferent—no smiles or greetings. We were placed in the farthest room, 301, despite availability. My room key and the ice machine were inoperable. breakfast was a highlight. Made-to-order omelettes and gluten-free waffles were fantastic, but it would have helped if those options were better advertised. The property is clean and cozy, with inviting hangout spaces. Springs were felt, leading to a restless night for both my mom and me. Improvements in room comfort are essential for satisfying guests.

Great location near shops and a beautiful winter snowfall added to the charm. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice little kitchen. Loved the personalized omelets and generous breakfast options. Meeting new friends by the fire pit was a highlight. our check-in was delayed, and the walls were paper thin, making it hard to sleep. One evening, a complaint about noise left us feeling uneasy. Despite these hiccups, the inviting decor and friendly staff made for a memorable experience.

The cozy theatre just up the road served up heartfelt entertainment paired with delicious home-cooked meals. The family-friendly atmosphere was a hit with the kids, offering unforgettable evenings under one roof.
My wife says that the playground could use some updating.

I felt like a fancy queen getting together with my friends at a local American joint. The hotel made me feel right at home. I enjoyed the arcade and countryside view. It was a blast!
Just loved paying for an empty room, what a thrill! .

This was my first visit to Shipshewana and it was a wonderful mini vacation! The room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall grounds were lovely. The buffet meal with a concert was delicious and great value! Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

The theatreball court was lit; we could play for hours! The Blue Gate Restaurant was so close, we grubbed there daily. Plus, the concerts at the Performing Arts Center were dope. Staff rocked too!
Yo, just add a bonfire pit where we can chill and jam out with music. That's the only thing missing for a lit teenage scene!

The room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast spread was top-notch - those omelettes and pastries were to die for! Plus, the location was ideal, right next to the theater and close to all the shops in town. Access in and out was a breeze, making it super convenient for exploring the area.
Our room was overly noisy, with the constant hustle and bustle of kids running around. Parking was a headache, especially for those needing handicap spots.

The hotel room itself was clean and comfortable, with a cozy sitting area and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The housekeeping did a great job of keeping the room tidy, which was a plus. there were a few issues that affected our overall experience. One of the main drawbacks was the lack of proper facilities in the room. We were disappointed to find that there were no ironing facilities available, which made it challenging to keep our clothes neat and wrinkle-free during our stay. the heating and air conditioning system seemed a bit outdated and struggled to maintain a consistent temperature, leading to some discomfort. On a more positive note, the hotel did offer tea and coffee facilities, which was a nice touch for a quick morning pick-me-up. Unfortunately, there was no mini-bar available, which would have been convenient for keeping snacks and beverages chilled. In terms of amenities, the hotel had a lovely terrace with garden furniture, but the view from our room was less than ideal, overlooking a parking lot. The lack of an AM/FM alarm clock was a small inconvenience, but we managed fine without it. our stay at Blue Gate had its ups and downs. While the room was clean and the staff friendly, the lack of certain facilities and the issues with the heating and air conditioning detracted from our overall comfort and satisfaction.

The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, and the omelette maker did an amazing job with my order. The staff was super friendly and the hot tub was a hit with my husband. Plus, the room was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast every morning was excellent too.
As senior citizens, we had to walk quite a bit to reach our room, even with the elevator. Unfortunately, my biscuits and gravy weren't very warm, and it would've been nice to have hot chocolate available alongside the tea and coffee.

Our family had a fantastic time at this cozy inn in Shipshewana. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids, while the breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations with its wide variety of delicious options. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, from the friendly servers to the accommodating front desk team. The location was perfect, with easy access to the nearby event center and shopping areas. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing and fun family getaway.
Missed out on some potential savings due to lack of information about pricing bundles during check-in.
